I saw all of Mitt Romney's statement and mini press conference regarding the attacks on American embassies in Benghazi and Cairo. His remarks were not only inappropriate, they careless, shoot-from-the-hip political cheap shots made without any thoughtful evaluation of circumstances or consequences. Incredibly stupid, simplistic, political opportunism. I certainly would not want this man making for
eign policy for my country.
Oh, and by the way, please, don't try to convince me that Islam is a religion of peace. Modern Christianity, for all of its right-wing, backward, anti-science, sexually repressed, racist, and social intolerant nut cases, doesn't hold a candle to the gratuitous misogyny, senselessly violent and murderous behaviour of today's right wing Muslims.
